New Look Deore

Shimano has just announced a revamp of their affordably priced Deore groupset. The new M6000 parts lend a number of design cues from the latest XT and SLX groupsets.

As with the previous version, it runs a 10-speed drivetrain but the rear cassette options have been expanded to include an 11-42. This is paired with either double or triple chainring cranks (there’s still no 1X crank option at the Deore level).

Further details below…

In 2X format the cranks will be offered with 28/38, 26/36 and 24/34 tooth chainring options. The 3X version will run 22/30/40T chainrings.
