Niner Jet 9 RDO - $4,790
Mid-travel trail bikes are all the rage now; bikes that are both quick and fun. The new Jet 9 RDO definitely fits the mould. It features a lightweight full-carbon frame with dialled trail geometry; 434mm chainstays, a 67.5 degree head angle and 120mm of efficient CVA suspension. In addition to taking 29-inch wheels, the new Jet 9 RDO can also accept 27.5 plus tyres up to 3.0 inches wide — it’s the most versatile Niner ever!

Combining lightweight hubs with sturdy eyeleted alloy rims, the new boost compatible Enduro wheels are a perfect match for the hard-charging trail bike. They’re tubeless ready with a 25mm internal width and the boost version features upgraded bearings when compared with the regular Enduro model (review P46).

Light yet grippy tyres can make all the difference in how a bike feels and performs. Running the big volume 2.35 Hans Dampf up front provides tons of traction, while the 2.25 Racing Ralph on the rear improves your rolling speed. There’s also a spares kit to round out the package.
