Old Ghost Road - a Unique Perspective

We’ve featured the Old Ghost Road previously and now this amazing trail on New Zealand’s South Island is finally open. It’s a remote backcountry adventure in the mountains near Westport that traverses some of the most rugged and spectacular terrain you’re likely to encounter.

How rugged you ask? Well check out this amazing drone footage. This particular section of trail was one of the last parts completed to link the two ends. Now the trail forms an 85km long multi-day singletrack epic – get over there if you can!
