Specialized launches ‘lightest ever’ hardtail

Specialized have pulled no punches with their latest bike release, declaring the New Epic Hardtail the ‘lightest production hardtail chassis’ on the market.

Boasting a weight of just 775 grams (Medium S-Works frame), the Epic HT certainly backs up its designers’ claim.

Building on the foundations of the original Epic HT, the updated version features the following improvements:

Gravel ... it's one of the fastest growing and most exciting aspects of the sport plus a wonderful occasional diversion for us pure roadies.

It's not often (or virtually never) we see major changes in how we carry water (or other hydration liquids) on a bike ... but that's changed with this new offering.

Aussie riders Dylan Sunderland and Benjamin Dyball will join Team Dimension Data for 2020, the two young athletes moving to the top level after years of hard work and solid results.
